This custom tile fireplace surround picture above was privately commissioned. The owners gave me a sketch of what they wanted and I turned it into handmade sculptural tile fireplace surround. The surface coloration was achieved using clay dug from the homesite, which was ball-milled into a terra sigillatta. Please contact me if you are interested in a custom tile fireplace.
