Asheville Museum of Science Fossil Dig

This project was a collaboration with Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS), Vaden Custom Builders, and myself. AMOS approached us with the idea and chose the fossils to be featured based. Vaden built the wood surround for sandbox and installed the didactics, sand and brushes. I made the glazed ceramic fossils and embedded them in concrete panels to fit inside the sand box like a puzzle. Children and adults can rediscover the fossils for themselves with a brush and a little luck.
